Acupuncture, a treatment using fine needles targeting specific points on the body will help reduce many types of pain and inflammation. We also offer transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS). Using a small device that produces mild electrical pulses, TENS therapy stimulates nerves near the aching joint and may interfere with the transmission of pain signals to the brain. Additionally, Cold Laser Therapy or Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a treatment using specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissue and is thought to help accelerate the healing process.
